2009/2010 HSBC Racing Academy Introduction, Overview and Selection Process

The HSBC Racing Academy is run under the patronage of His Highness Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum was launched in 2006 when HSBC and Dubai Autodrome partnered with the objective of cultivating young motorsport talent in the UAE.  Both males and females go through an intense selection process with the incentive of becoming part of an exciting HSBC Racing Academy Karting programme. From there, drivers will have the opportunity to gain racing experience on a National stage.

The internationally experienced Dubai Autodrome Instructors and HSBC Racing Academy Team Management assess the participants throughout the selection process of which attitude, dedication, fitness, skill and the ability to be quick is amongst the criteria.
